American Dream
There is a whole world out there waiting to be conquered
yet in the smallest things we find comfort.
We stick to our usual routines for fear of what is unseen
We all have dreams and hopes of how we want our lives to unfold
Curiosity builds in the parts of our stories that are still untold
But who do we want to be is it the same person others are eager to see
Do we live to please ourselves or are we forcefully bound by the American Dream
For those who seek out success priories and hard work must come first
If you are not willing to fail then how will the mind have room to grow?
Life is just a work in progress with help along the way to make sure we don’t get lost
